BECCA with Miku?!

I found this to be a very interesting song. BECCA, most known for her song “I’m Alive!” used as the first ending theme for the anime Kuroshitsuji, has released a new single featuring Vocaloid Hatsune Miku. The single is called SHIBUYA and the CD comes with seven tracks. There are two versions of SHIBUYA; one with both BECCA and Miku and the other with just BECCA. There are also two different remixes of the song with just Miku singing. Also included is a live recorded performance of ‘I’m Alive!’ and a Miku mix of the same song.
This single song, SHIBUYA, is quite catchy and is sung in both English and Japanese. I found that some people did not like the idea of a real person singing with a computer-generated voice synthesizer, but I quite like the idea.
The single is available now (with a DVD for the limited edition) at Amazon.jp, retailed at 1700 yen.
What are your thoughts on the subject of a person singing with a program such as Miku?
Black Rock Shooter Anime Preview

The last two minutes of the video contain a short preview of the newly announced Black Rock Shooter anime. The beginning of the video is two Miku songs performed live at an anisong concert called Animelo this weekend in Saitama.
The animation quality for the anime, from what I can tell, looks great. Looking forward to the pilot in September. I also like the idea of a ‘live’ Miku concert. I would pay to see one. Wouldn’t you?

The Mio Akiyama Nendoroid, which I have previously posted about, is now available for pre-order at Hobby Search. She is priced at 3167 yen and will be released in November. I really hope I am able to get some money in time to pre-order her, but I’m not sure I’ll be able to.
Mio (and remaining K-ON! cast of nendoroids) isn’t the only figure I have a yearning for:
Aigis was never my favorite Persona 3 character, but I cannot deny the beauty of this figma. If I had the extra money I would order her. If you want to pre-order her, she is also available at Hobby Search for 2533 yen with an October release date.
Another figure I definitely would cough up the money for is the new Good Smile Co. Hatsune Miku. She is absolutely gorgeous in every way. She is yet another figure available at Hobby Search with a price of 7961 yen and a November release.
These are only a few of the figures I want that I can think of off the top of my head. If I had to rank them in order of much I want them, first would definitely be the GSC Miku followed by a tie between the Mio nendo and Aigis figma.
God, I really need to find a way to make more money. TT_TT
