So I was sitting at my desk and staring at my Miku figma wondering as to how I should spend my time, when a thought came to me: Why not take a picture or two of my lovely little figma. And so, this is the result of that thought. I really needed another light source but I couldn’t find another desk lamp, so bear with the bad lighting.
Lelouch wanted to join in on the shoot.
Lelouch knows how to sweet talk the ladies. Or maybe he used his geass?
This shoot kept me entertained for about an hour and a half. It was quite fun.

Wonder Festival 2009 has come to an end, and with that brings a wide range of new figures that need to be bought. It seems that Vocaloid and K-ON! figures are the popular ones this year.
More Vocaloid figures is bad for my wallet.
DO WANT!
These are my favorites from Artefact’s post at Sankaku Complex. These pictures do not belong to me. I borrowedstole them.
Now what I would actually spend money on would have to be the VN02 Hatsune Miku, the K-ON! nendoroids, and the new Max Factory Hatsune Miku.
Which figure(s) is your favorite and what will you buy?
Edit: Another do-want, but I prefer the cannon version.
Galveston Trip Post 01

WARNING: Long post & lots of pics.
To sum up the first day of the trip in one word: sleep. The night before I literally got an hour of sleep. So I spent the 5-6 hour drive to Galveston sleeping.
Outside the window of my condo, in other words Galveston Beach.
Went swimming at the beach for at least 3 hours until the sun started to set. Also built a sand castle, which I have no picture of because I do not want to get my camera dirty. After that was shopping at Kroger:
Yes, my camera does suck, but I’m too broke for a new one.
Construction after Hurricane Ike:
Flagship Hotel above the beach:
Pretty palm trees:
We took an hour long tour of the Moody Mansion. The inside is absolutely gorgeous. They’ve kept most of the original furniture. It was built in 1895 and even was able to survive the Great Hurricane Disaster of 1900 and hardly damaged during Hurricane Ike. It is named for the family that lived in it until 1983 or so. We were not allowed to take pictures inside, sadly, but the outside is beautiful too.
Some nice cars inside the garage at Moody Mansion:
Parting view of Moody Mansion:
Lunch at Shrimp-n-Stuff, yumm.
Side view of Flagship Hotel:
Lelouch says hi!
After all that, more swimming at the beach, of course!
Edit: I just wanted to mention that these and the one in my previous post are probably the first pictures I have ever taken of any of my figures outside the comfort of my room. I feel the credit for this bravery goes to Danny Choo and his wonderful pictures.

Now you can’t say that you don’t want this!
This figure has to be one of the most amazing and beautiful figmas I have ever seen. The whole design is wonderful. I really want to know what is under the question-marked picture -it couldn’t possibly be any more amazing than the bottom right picture! Ah, I’m excited for this! I have the slightest chance of possibly owning this, and I repeat, THE SLIGHTEST. Please wish me luck! I cannot express in words how much I want this figma.
I could almost cry.
Edit: The figma will be available for online pre-order July 27th through August 1st and is scheduled for a November release.
